The Ravenettes Banked Track Roller Derby team from Seattle and Arizona stayed here for a weekend while visiting and playing the San Diego Derby Dolls. The house was so eclectic and charming! Cassandra was even available to check us in early! Great for groups! The carriage house is adorable and great for just a couple. Close to downtown and the airport.

The SDhouse was a great experience. The location was awesome and a close uber ride or walk to gaslamp. The house itself was unique for the area which was awesome. I wish I would have been able to spend extra nights in the house. Great experience would def recommend.

Excellent and Amazing!

This house is excellent and amazing! My company and my employees stayed here during a Convention, the house was as advertised and fit myself and my employees who came with me, comfortably. Two kitchens, plenty of bathrooms, and ample space for us to relax on our downtime without feeling crowded in any one space. All of the rooms were clean, comfortable, and we had plenty of parking. With its close proximity to all of our locations in and around the convention center - this house is a gem of a find.

The ground floor of the house had lots of stained glass windows and nice Victorian touches. We enjoyed walking to Balboa park and the zoo, down to the USS Midway or over to Gaslamp for dinner.

We met out host at the home after we called to confirm our arrival. She had already set up our unique alarm code. She proceeded to show us the equally unique property with it's eclectic collection of furniture and furnishings. She provided us with some history of this historic building but was unable to direct us to any ghosts. ' thank goodness'. Having 2 washrooms and 4 bedrooms was a treat when you are travelling with 3 children and 2 adults. finally some quiet time. Only there for 2 nights but we enjoyed our stay which was chosen to offer what appeared to be rather unique accommodation and that it did .

Uniquely Furnished

We were able to schedule our stay on short notice with very quick responses from the host. The home is very comfortable, spacious and uniquely furnished just as pictured. The location is very convenient to the airport but plane noise not very noticable except outside on porch. Would certainly stay here again for a longer time when we return to San Diego.

We had a great time staying in the one bedroom Victorian. The place had everything we needed and more. The house truly was a spectacle both on the inside and out. The 1st floor has an odd layout which made it very interesting to be in. It felt like we might've had company during the night. The only thing was that it's very dark! It was a little scary. We plan to be back and see the rest of the home! Thanks for it all.

Super Comfortable

Oh wow. I did not want to leave - and when I got home, my house felt very plain indeed! This place is like a museum, but super comfortable. Everything was spotless and so functional. I needed an iron, and the host delivered. Checkin was a breeze and she was so responsive. The neighborhood is great and you can walk to Little Italy and the zoo no problem. I slept great - the bed was so comfortable and everything so quiet. I had an issue with the hot water, but I just needed to turn the knob the opposite way and wait a few minutes. My problem, but the host sent the contractor over right away. I hope I get to come back to San Diego, and I would looove to stay here again!

Fantastic Historic Home

This historic home is fantastic, with ornate yet comfortable furnishings. You can reserve a floor for one or two couples, or you can invite more friends and reserve several floors (the house it huge!). And you're just a few blocks from Little Italy, where you can walk to lots of restaurants and bars. A few blocks further, and you're at the waterfront. It's really a great location.
