Mad Hatter High Tea

There is something uniquely gracious about the etiquette and manners about an afternoon tea that recaptures the romance of past ages. The formal "afternoon tea" was first introduced by Anna Duchess of Bedford (1783-1857), one of Queen Victoria's ladies-in-waiting.

Henry James wrote, "There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as an afternoon tea."

Enjoy afternoon tea at SDhouse with assorted small bites and desserts.  Available for overnight guests with parties of 4 or more. Priced per person. Reservation required at time of room booking.

Locals may also book SDhouse for an afternoon tea, pending availability. Minimum of 6 guests for reservation. (Max 14)

To honor the late owner's passion for hats, guests can select from her wide collection to adorn while sipping their tea, or they can bring their own head-ware to the festivities.
